This amazing phone provides complete freedom to move around your hospitality property without missing or dropping calls. Its range is up to 5 miles from its base (in open terrain), and up to 11 floors away from its base in a building! In a motel environment, you can walk around the entire property and down the street to the corner store without loosing the signal, or even use the base unit to page and have a 2-way conversation with your maintenance person who has another handset outside on the property grounds. And because handsets store and charge in their own charging unit (not in the base unit), you can keep phone charging cradles in areas where there is electricity but no phone line.
Range of clear communications will vary based on environment, but independent testing showed this phone's range to be far beyond that of any on the market today. 2.4 GHz phones do not even come close to this kind of range and clarity. You will get the greatest range possible in an urban or suburban environment by using the longer antenna that is included with the phone and placing the base unit up as high as possible. An optional outdoor antenna (60ft cable included) is also available to obtain maximum range.
This phone system can grow as your needs grow. You can add up to 9 handsets per base, and 4 base units per system, giving you flexibility to create a 36-handset phone system. Each handset can be registered to up to 4 bases, so you can place multiple bases around a large facility to create a larger usage area or multiple usage areas. You can have, go today, a private two-way radio conversation between handsets without annoying "group chatter". Multiple handsets can have private one-to-one conversations at the same time even if someone else is using the phone line.
You can even extend and further strengthen the range of these phones with an optional external antenna.
